Moments PassedA Poem by The Lady AnastejaA poem by Anasteja Carewa phantom's starving heart; eternal allegiance flawed with seclusion
unsuspecting carcass left devoured
fabrication cloaked with morality; nothing more than apologies
to yourself
agonizing desire grasping for alleviation
a new day shines
yet we cling to our illusions
living each day in wonder
turn our back on possibilities
the door is closing
