Breathe

Breathe

A Poem by The Lady Anasteja
"

...

"
with feet up -
scratching from within

foraging for an exit -
glued to the seam

immutable anguish
retains the lease

luminosity vacated -
cells sorely deteriorate

each salty extraction
binds tribulation

reminds me of drowning....yikes. I absolutely love your way with words. I don't always understand them all...but they always leave FEELING...which stays with us longer than understanding ...doesn't it? kudos!

Wow..This is an intresting poem. It is full of pain and releasing it in cries. I enjoyed reading this piece, it is well written. I love how it is somewhat vague, it makes it intresting. Great job! :D
