Beep. Beep. Beep. I rolled over and slam the snooze button. I hear mom's voice shouting from downstairs "Camille, get up now! You're going to break that alarm clock of yours!". I roll out of bed and check my closet. I decide on a pair of faded grey jeans, paired with a plain white shirt and sneakers. I pull my hair into a ponytail and take one last look in the mirror. Hmmmmm, there's something missing. Lipstick! It's my signature accessory, how could I forget it? I choose a deep red and head downstairs. After a quick breakfast of oat cereal fortified with fruits and vitamins to help keep my body looking perfect, I pack my designer backpack. All of my stationary and textbooks have been styled to match each of my lipstick shades I own. When I arrive at school, I see my best friend Jessica is waiting for me along with my eleven other close friends. Behind the first row of all my close friends, is the second row, with all of my other friends. Probably about 23 in all. The bell rings. Ughhhhhhh. I have math for first period, and, I'm actually failing math. I tell everyone that I get straight A's, but in truth, I have an average C-. As soon as I walk into the classroom I sit down and complete my normal routine for the beginning of every class; sit down, apply hand sanitizer, apply hand lotion, reapply my lipstick. I've been doing this since the beginning of eighth grade. I tell everyone that I don't really know why I do it, but to be honest, it's because it comforts me. Everything changes so much, that it feels familiar and comforting.
