light of day <3

roses of black,
songs of love,
send me up to heaven,
send me up above.

tears are hidden,
with scars of shame,
with days gone by,
it remains the same.

listen to the words,
that remain unspoken,
listen to the sad song,
it's your life token.

people die,
but their spirits remain,
words are left,
and leave you insane.

sing the song,
of sorrow and bye,
it's the last day on Earth,
it's time to die.

memories are forever,
or so you'll say,
the memories will die,
by the light of day.

[Wolfwind Words]

I love the first two lines of this piece. They show a very physical and emotional clashing that carries through the entire poem. The piece makes me think of people i've known over the years that will say things, make promises and the like. Then down the road they fail to keep up their end of the deal. That causes pain and then frustration as they tell you to just blow it off. That's what I see in the words anyway. :)
Overall it's a really good poem, smooth flowing and has a workable rhyming scheme.
