That night i drank the ashes... pt 2

A Poem by Haley Adams Smith
"

The effects of trazadone/ the process.

"

I can feel you running through

my systemmm

Silky and smooth

Like a smoothie of silk.

Your hands run along my veins

And in my hair

Trazadone, beware.

You tickle my elbows

and pound at my feet

Your grace is so soft

Like a dancer

So neat.

When the rumbling subsides

and the bows wind to break

You'll always be mind

I'll never forsake.

As the night runs dim

As the smoke runs high

You in your heavenly duties

Subside.

Then off to the bible I am

To the trailer park gone

As each molecule appears

An old one is gone

The roaches on the wall

The lights in the air

I tiptoe so neat

Effervescant on cleats.

So believe me when I say

Sweet heaven you are neear

Now go read my other poem

It's horror that's clear

pandora's box, when opened, often releases more questions than answers. in the end, in effect it boils down to indivisual sustenance,
or self preservation, day to day, year to year or even moment to moment, what the mind thinks it needs to survive, prescription drugs
are scarey, this is an amazing look into the world of alternate
inebriation leading to a sense of demise. great poem, keep it up!
