May you peacefully lay

May you peacefully lay

A Poem by Haley Bryann
"

For my aunt. Who passed away 10 AM two years ago today.

"
Two years.
Two years ago you left.
You tore us apart and we're still not okay
The crying and agony
The pain

Two years ago you left.
You had no choice but to go
We understand,
But why so soon?
There were so many years left on your life,

Two years ago you left.
Your battle with Leukemia ended
This battle you did not win
We needed you here and we were so angry
Are still so angry

Two years ago you left.
And now everything's dimmer
Everything's smaller
But we're a little bit better

Your laughter and smile
Sticks to my mind
The puzzles and bunches of puzzles
Scattered everywhere; at least 3 at a time

Your careless nature of other's opinions
Your love for family, friends..
We needed you here,
But I guess they needed you more up there

We love and miss you
We're sorry you left so soon
We ache and we cry
But we no longer agonize
We no longer hate

We live in peace and memories
RIP Aunt Laura. ♥

About
I like role play and create my stories that way, though lately I've been wanting to write my own story. Though it's a typical human x vampire story, I'm trying to make it unique. Hopefully I can finis.. more..
