How Shall I Feel Upon My Dark Demise

How Shall I Feel Upon My Dark Demise

A Poem by Diego
"

A villanelle about death!

"

how shall i feel upon my dark demise
the night i do dread from time to time
when the sun for me will no longer rise

will the night Air be cool or stab my eyes
will i hear the Angel’s voices in rhyme
how shall i feel upon my dark demise

my last glimpse upward to the Stars and Skies
like the days of old, the moon will not mime
when the sun for me will no longer rise

will i fall or ascend; what is my prize
in this life i have committed no crimes
how shall i feel upon my dark demise

through my entire life with all my tries
this plan of His, i wont finish the climb
when the sun for me will no longer rise

i’ve been beaten to pulp with all the lies
i’ll fight to the death because that’s who i’m
how shall i feel upon my dark demise
when the sun for me will no longer rise

i love the capitalization, it makes it unique and adds emphasis to what you're trying to say. i also love the rhyming of this poem. your conflicting feelings show and it's very well-written :]
