Vision in my DreamsA Poem by Chynna CoCreated a song (or poem, if it's better in the poetry section) for my novel. This is my character's (girl) perspective, in connection to the "Thoughts of Remembrance" poem/song I posted.
The pastel sunset shines like flowerbed in the sky.
So beautiful... without you. You've always been up there, Beneath the clouds that I couldn't reach. One step... Another step... I go out and let the breeze blow my hair 'till it covers my masked face. I pretend that I'm doing fine without you near. But my mirror shows a pale, empty being, Wandering through her endless, shattered mind. You who penetrates my incomplete memories from time to time, Where are you? Tell me... How long should I stay like this? The moonlit sky shines like north winds in the sky, So still... without you. You're like a vivid memory that lives through time. Slowly tinting my washed away spirit. If I escape out of this seeming world, Will we be able to meet halfway? You wrap me with your invisible hands at night, And I dream of you again and again. 'Till reality conceals your smiling face to the deepest part of me. You who penetrates my incomplete memories from time to time, Where are you? Tell me... How long should I stay like this? Time goes as it steals my vision of you to an unending warp. If I have the chance to hold even just your shadow, I will do anything. Looking there and around... I want to wake up in this endless dream. Your passing voice and warm scent comes like a raging storm to me. I will slowly make my way to you out of this vast labyrinth. You who penetrates my incomplete memories from time to time, Where are you? Tell me... How long should I stay like this? © 2014 Chynna CoAuthor's Note
