The Ember

Hope is the ember that faintly glows

 

though seemingly cool now,

 

it is a reminder of past flame glory

 

and the possibility for new burning manifestation,

 

to blossom into dancing plumes of vital flame once again.

 

Just the knowledge of its potential

 

waiting in reserve, gives me peace,

 

that is the spark of hope!
