The Fourth Dimension

The Fourth Dimension

A Poem by Frances Smart
"

Something there is never enough of...

"

Before I met you
I thought that time
Was limited to
The here and now
But you changed all that
And now I find myself wondering
If there is not a place for us
Somewhere in time

My love, I never thought I could be
So in love, so totally and
Completely, unquestionably
Without a doubt,
Enthralled
By a man I have never
Met face to face.

But love you, I do…
Everything about you
The way you talk
The way you make me laugh,
The way you act when you’re
Angry with me
And the softness in your tone
When you tell me you love me

This makes no sense
But that doesn’t make it
Any less real
And though we still
Have no idea
How this will turn out
I have hope
That together we can
Overcome any obstacle

And that this love
Will stand the test of time
Because you and I both
Know that time
Is all we have
And that somewhere in time
There is a place for us
To be together
And all the time we need

I feel you don't have to see someone face to face to love someone with your whole heart.talking to the person the compation they give and love and understanding is a great feeling to feel. theres always a place for anyone who's in love, you just need to find where, in life theres always obstacles to over come but if its meant to be then it will happen in time.love is very strong and love can make it if you really want it.thank you for sharing this with me your writing is wonderful. karen

Absence makes the heart grown fonder. Physical absence, that is. The most powerful presence is a spiritual and emotional one, which I see you're familiar with. I have been here and totally relate to the words expressed. Great job. This seemed to come straight from your heart. Many blessings.

Very loving and romantic. Such yearning for a love, someone you've never met, yet so very real. "This makes no sence, but that doesn't make it any less real..." an honest statement, this writing is full of hope. A good poem, flowed well and your words brought out the images...talk, laugh, softness of your tone...Good write and excellant read. Congrats... ;)

I see the connection between this poem and the other poem, is it the same man? Best of luck to you both.

The fourth dimension- the passionate subtle ambience that weaves through- in and out is touching,
I really enjoyed the quality of thought surrendered with the flow, the romantic aspect is a pillowy

cloud floating in the skies of the heart, in saying, one gets a vivid impression with specific details
left open to personal interpretation, the way you bring the projection of time into perspective

creates a vision that balances what is being said, to need time and at the end have all that is needed
beautifully written, expression that delivers with substance and form with passion and emotion.
Take Care, Mike

This is great! Showing how love has it's ups and downs is always interesting to read. I agree with you. There is never enough of love and time to spend with one another. Great job.
