Little Bird Told Me

Little Bird Told Me

A Poem by sri

Little Bird Told Me

One day a little bird spoke to me

of a gift that comes from a resume

he said little me be ready for a ray of joy

to be gurgled fast down ahoy

Today little bird shouts to me

from a sturdy branch of the cork tree

be strong for what’s to come and conquer

of what you fear of your taker

Yesterday little bird whispered to me

that it is time to let my baby be

fly, grow and nurture love in sorrow

live heartily of the happy mellow

Someday little bird will breathe to me

from across the balmy south china sea

my dream will be to come and take me

forever lost in that degree.

The 4th stanza was very special. I don't know what birds you've been listening to sri, but it seems to be working!
