This one is described as an autobiography, but if it is, it tells the story of the emotional life, not the chronological one. The picture that emerges is one of a seeker, maybe one of high hopes, who has experienced some setbacks. The phrase "and it's her" appears unexpectedly, twice, meaning it's significant. This may speak of bad luck in love. I don't get a sense of despair here; rather, there is the same determination to walk an individual path. The last two lines, however, bespeak an awareness that human life is not infinite, and the path will have an end. That, though, is the one thing that is true of all journeys here.

I appreciate your notice of the last line which elucidates the understanding of the finite human life. Your comment means alot!
