When You Left

I wrote this poem for my best friend , for my soul " Reeham"

I wish you could know, what you've done to me

You left a giant hole in my heart, in my chest

An emptiness that no one can fill by presence

I wish you could know, what you have done to me

You caused a deep wound in my soul

That won't heal nor stop whining

When I hear your name, the salty memories

Leak through the cuts , triggering its wounds

The notes of sorrow play hard on my vines

I wish you could know, what you have done

 

They say a friend in need is a friend indeed

And I need you so much

I long for talking to you, holding you

Sharing with you … My hopes, my dreams

, my pains and my fears

I wish you could know, what you have done

Every night since you left

My tears meet and sing

The song of fear, the fear of losing a friend

I know it's not your fault nor mine

It's just our fate that made us a part

You promised me to stay friends

No matter what the distance is

But believe me my sweet angel

When you're gone

Life makes no sense any more

The roses are crying their lost odor

The birds lost their voices and their glamor

I wish you could know, what you have done

I need you so much, I miss you even more

Though I have many friends to live with

But you are the only one I wish

Tell me please can a body live without its breeze

Its soul , its quintessence

No it can't , it won't …

Hadeel... this expresses so much lonesome sorrow !
My dearest "sister of my heart" moved last year..I feel the same way... i still tell my heart..she is only on vacation..
just know..no matter the distance...Friendship & Love only grows deeper and stronger..

I wrote it for my sweet friend Reeham.
She got married and she is living now in another country with her husband
we talk sometimes , but not like the old times , i miss her so much specially when i talk about her or when i need her ! i wish to see her soon , and hug her forever ...
I love you my sweet twin , and i promise you no one shall fill your place in my heart ever !
