Stolen Moments

When we lose those precious moments

He sat there on his dark thrown

Laughing and thinking of every

Single moment he stole...

staring at his crystal ball

enjoying disappointments of them all

When someone wanted to say I love you

But he couldn't do…

When someone was busy to say to his parents

I miss you …

And now he is crying over their grave

Hugging the sand covering their bodies, and their souls

When someone lost his friends because he was

So proud to say I need you by my side

And now he is a lone immersed in regret and sore

When someone wanted to catch the train to say

Please don't go away but he missed it, it was too late...

When someone wanted to apologize for hurting a close person to his heart, but he couldn't say...

When he stole a smile, a love, a tear

He is too cold to feel or hear

The wounded song of their sobs

He is there laughing and stare

While he makes us drowning in our sins and tears

He is the dark side of you and me

The side which makes us cruel and mean…

this is a very eloquently poignant poem depicting when one misses a loved one due to them physically no longer being with them, i.e.: moving, or passed on...or when one takes another's love/friendship for granted. very relateable and beautifully penned. thanks for sharing :)

honestly...... im not gonna sugar coat this. I couldnt understand this. The grammar was just too alien for me. I'm sure it was a gret idea. The parts I could understand were nice.

you know..i can really relate to this piece right now...some of my loved ones are so far away..to far to be with in their time of need...You captured that feeling of being torn well...but is is cruel & mean? or just a defense until one is strong enough to face? Gives me lots to think about !
