The Minds trilogy

The Minds trilogy

A Poem by hadiya

Who am I? What am I? Why do I live?
Why am I given another chance to breathe?
What is my purpose?
Why do I suffer so much pain?
Turmoil that lives within,
Conflicting, torturing
Desperate remorse on the uncommon mind,
Destitute for release for compassion from the daily toils,
What atrocities the heart must bear
To obtain its true desire
Its burning aspirations
Afflicted with much, a rude awakening
Hoping yearning to see the light
The true element of human kind
Filled with flaws and misfortune
Yet strives for perfection,
Is this sure orthodox irony?
That we all aim for what we may never achieve,

At times it is good to do nothing,
Allowing time to pass,
Paying no attention to it,
Letting your mind become peaceful,
Without ponderous thoughts,
Of calculating its next move,
The calm feelings of letting go
 All that ails the soul,
Leaving the mind into complete nothingness,

The thoughts of love,
The thoughts of passions,
Wanting, yearning, needy empathy,
The mind propels and hunts for its like intellect,
That special source that it may need to connect
Heartless we sometimes think,
To our own oblivion
Ignoring the truth to the mind’s
 True wants, needs, affections
Yet it is a mortal’s coded mechanism
To give of its self willingly
