Happy Deluge of YouA Poem by I Cast a ShadowInspired by Led Zeppelin's "The Rain Song". Something like this almost happened to me and it made me reflect on my would-be feelings. I'm thankful every day it didn't happen.
Falling so far feels like floating
Trickling random sparkling spring from sky Cool drench of heaven delivered life Fuel the earth through the seasons I never mind when it rains Arms out wide; my rain vigil. Will she die from own-ed hand? Will Her tears fall from the sky? I shall remain stainless Stargazing through the storm Asking for more. Where have you gone? Where did you hide? Perhaps to fall from the bridge To join the sky's surrender. Now every time it rains I feel your embrace. And every time it rains you cry for me. Never will I be yesterday's son. Yesterday's sun. Yesterday's gone.
