"

Not sure I'm finished with this. It may turn out much much longer than this and better wrapped.

"

Natural Comedians.

Arteries constrict his ivory frame;

Nerves like roots outstretched,

Grasp for the meaning of existence.

Connecting brain to bone,

Bone to flesh,

Flesh to skin,

Behold man.

Be the parasite.

Be a joke.

Mocking intelligence.

Misusing gifts.

No mere composite of earthly matter,

He thinks therefore he is.

Brimming with new and progress he breathes life,

Just like a breath it vaporizes.

He is God and He thanks His hollow monolith

He is a wolf among sheep

Master of gluttony,

Vortex of confusion.

Captain of sinking ships,

He sails on seas of folly.

No star charts can plot his chaotic voyage.

Cascading into worlds of darkness,

He trips on all kinds of small things,

Face breaking through walls of reality.

Battered, bloody, ‘n bruised he rises, feeling nothing.

Through his blind determination he circles back.

An ongoing compass of disappointment.

A sadistic deity stands outside.

Hunched over in tears,

Sides ripping,

Slapping red knees,

He gets the joke before the punchline.

The Bang followed by the Whimper.

So is Man.
