A Wrong-side Up Bowl of Love

A Wrong-side Up Bowl of Love

A Poem by I Cast a Shadow
"

A poem written with a hand knit hat I made for my lover.

"

Red is my passion and all of my love

An endless circle knitted with needles up above

Spiraling down to lap smaller rounds do follow

Though it may be empty I assure it is not hollow

‘Twas hand knit with alertness; never out of bore.

Ev’ry thread given feeling like ev’ry word in classic lore.

Because of every noticed stitch; the color, the shape, and the sentiment,

I present this gift to you in soul filled and love inspired testament.
