Fragmented Sonnet #3 (years in the making)

Fragmented Sonnet #3 (years in the making)

A Poem by I Cast a Shadow
"

Shortened Experimental Sonnet

"

Constant bleeding scabs from mutual drought;

From the poles of paint-shaker anxiety and slaughterhouse melancholy like

Addiction meets Surveillance along rails on a bridge before the train.

Her velvet breasts dance slow like lullaby seas behind freshly laundered cotton

Getting -- in and out of the car, the mail, and

Making --  flame-colored pasta, a paradise, and the most genuine love I’ll ever have

We hurl trunks of lust overflowing with money on the embers

Our theme song: “Misery Loves Company” by Earned Love
