Sonnet: Years, ThreeA Poem by I Cast a ShadowShakespeareanAnd when I needed light you set your-cell Aflame. Against my will; I torture you For peace. I say, Tranquility is hell. For no two souls can rest at once in lieu. We stroll in rain to meet again, but why? A likeness crossing over us; a sound That’s so harmonious; the dragonfly The smell of rich tomato sauce; we’re found When stretched apart our time is wrung That’s when we know our love is strong And so just like a string of steel that’s strung With strain comes agony; sweet’st song For those that love that’s made with ease for now Has not made love from under sweat from brow © 2013 I Cast a ShadowReviews
