Time

Time

A Poem by I Cast a Shadow

Numbers that endlessly encompass a face

Ticking and tocking

Ticking and tocking

Must I be trapped by time’s torture and cages?

Must I?!

Held captive by others ideals

Cruel walls created by talking wheels!

Those void of My reason live in physical cells

They know the season,

Though they still hear the bells
