Through it All

Through it All

A Poem by I Cast a Shadow

Upon you my glances fall
From high and dizzy dreamy clouds
Your silent warmth
A beckon call
The chaos of a drifting feather
Your visage not unlike the weather
A storm --
Hurricane.
Blizzard.
Squall.
But sudden sunburst
Fills me all
A smile that warms and thaws the cold
Eyes that twinkle
Gentle yet bold
I'll sail forever through any change
For I know Time and his exchange
I will fight to the eye 'til the end
Until I see the sun
I will feel calm, love, and comfort entreat
I look upon you; soft and sweet
Forever.
