snowflake

snowflake

A Poem by H.
"

How are we any different from the water and the sky?

"

right before the sleep
i saw a snowflake
fall
onto my skin

never like another
cold
and melting slow, i
closed my eyes and
waited
for the sun
to take me up
again

I
closed my eyes and
waited
for the sun
to take me up

I've thrown away the map, but can't let go of the wheel. I'm a musician. I've been writing poetry for much longer than I've been playing, so it's odd I consider myself as such first and foremost. .. more..
