Smoke

Smoke

A Poem by Shalini R

If I were smoke

I’d be your smoke

From your fireplace

I’d be that part of your family

Thriving in your living room (who would’ve guessed?)

That fades away over time, the way it was meant to be

But you’ll always have that smell of me stuck in your hair.

Very interesting. Never thought about what kind of smoke I'd be. Definitely an intriguing prospect. Best of luck (once again) in the contest. I'm glad you entered!
