Red

I wrote it about the red land in Prince Edward Island. I'm here visiting here, and the words kept playing around in my head.

Red paints the land,

red mud,

red blood,

red sand.

 

For as far as I can see,

between you and me,

all there seems to be,

is the color red.

Wow, the picture is stunning. I like this poem. It's simple but has a nice hook to it that you can walk around saying when you've memorized it. Nice one.
