UnfamiliarA Poem by GwenthyAdventure is always good. I wrote this one since I'm going to enter senior high school this year. New environment, and new surroundings. So excited. kyaaaaaaahYears ago I am just a child of bicycle wounds with stained cheeks of choco scoops and fancy dress of pink and blue, imitating the princess in grandma's books Now I wanna go to an unfamiliar place or be locked up in a murderous maze, aiming a newly felt surge of race my heart pounds as in time I stray I wanna find that scent of escapade and a bit of real life's taste, to feed my deeply famished flesh The sense of belongingness with the soulful Earth's loneliness, an unusual sound of gaiety in this mournful battlefield Would wander the regions out of my nest and prepare my guns with bullets of words I would never surrender my own soul ready for action, away from my comfort zone This is the time to be free I would yearn for that unfamiliar mirth of victory and I will do it in an unfamiliar place, best in history © 2018 GwenthyAuthor's Note
