First - C2A Story by StrawbsDreams aren't always your escape. As my body jolted from the damp sheets of my bed I searched the room for something familiar for me to attach to where I was. Yes that's my bed side table, long, thin tall and white with a calico shade the colour of the sky, no, not the sky it was blue, but ice blue.
My chest flipped out in all directions. My breathing quickened as my eyes were locked onto that shade of blue. I felt chest rise as i took in a deep breathe, realising what had made me feel so anxious. It was that blue, that ice blue, the same colour as his eyes. The one that wouldn't escape me in my dreams. The same dreams i had been having for the past few nights. It seemed even my thoughts at nights weren't safe from the antoganising ruthless questions that attacked my mind during the day. Will I see him again? Does he remember me? Am i really this stupid?
The dreams were always of the same manner, they all disturbed me to my core. Always leaving me wanting more.
"Natalie! Where are you? Baby can you hear me? Natalie!" Charlie raced towards the sounds of screaming, they were coming from inside the warehouse, the stupid warehouse in the middle of shittsville. Charlie halted infront of a 200ft high bulding, shadows from the trees surrounding the facility were clinging to the sides of the walls, luring Charlie in. Charlie jogged along the wall keeping one hand on the cold, hard concrete to make sure that he wouldn't faint. All Charlie could hear were the sounds of Natalie's screams inside his head, and the heavy breathing as he searched for an entrance inside. Yes there it is, it wasn't hard to miss. It was a mighty double steel door, standing 7ft tall and six feet wide. Charlie pushed his hands forwards praying for once in his life things would go right and he would have the chance to make things right. The door's groaned open with minimal force. Strange, but Charlie didn't have chance to think about that now. He ran along the lowly lit corridor searching for something, anything that would hint to which way Natalie would be.
"Natalie, i'm here! I'm not going anywhere, let me know where you are!" Charlie felt his confidence sink whilst a sense of dread replaced. Oh Please god no. Please god, please was all Charlie could think as his legs flew him up the rickty iron stairs.
"Charlie! Charlie!" Charlie could hear Natalie's cries better, her voice seemed desparate, terrified. Charlie could hear her voice coming from the only room that was on the first floor, the corridor was plain and too official. Creepy. Charlie didn't hesitate as he reached the doors. He let his momentum carry him through shoving his shoulder through the middle of the door, letting all of his body weight force the door to come crashing open.
Natalie was backed into a corner, crow bar in hand shaking and pointing it towards a black figure that was hidden in the shadows. Dried tear stains ran down her cheeks as her eyes were frantic searching the for what had made the sound of the crash. Natalie locked eyes with Charlie and nearly fell to her knees with relief. Charlie didn't need to think twice, his body flew through the air at lightening speed crashing down on the villan who had hurt Natalie. The two bodies collided and as Charlie chest hit against the hard suface of the strange, it started to ripple, shaking from the core. The body started to dissipate and transform into dust leaving nothing behind but the stench of unhappiness and heartbreak.
Charlie jumped from the ground and fell into Natalies awaiting arms. Natalie had stopped crying and wrapped her arms around Charlie's strong and lean shoulders gripping so tight so nothing would ever take him from her again. This was where she was supposed to be, right here latching onto the other part of herself, the other part of her soul she hadn't realised was missing until it had returned to her.
"Oh baby, i'm so sorry, I love you. I love you, i'll never let you out of my sight again. Oh Natalie!" Charlie could hear the words falling out of his mouth whilst he focused on the touch of Natalie's skin against his own, like fire on ice.
"I'll never leave you Charlie, i love you, there's no way i can leave you now." Natalie let her hands brush though Charlie's thick brown hair as she hummed to calm her soul mate and bring him back to her.
Natalie leant forward to whipser into his right ear,
"What's left of my heart is yours, forever yours."
That's when all of a sudden Chalie's arms were no long aroundNatalie's and her body lept back falling into the unknown. All Natalie could feel was the loss that slashed at her chest, the screams that flew from her mouth as what was once again hers was again ripped from her.
Natalie rememberd the dream as she lay back onto her bed, her chest still pumping, her mind forever racing. The last thought Nataie had before she fell in to the black abys of unconciousness was how many wounds can a heart bare before it's torn competley.
