![]() Parallax I : Orange Clover Light HouseA Poem by Samuel Ferris
Accelled through a pin prick,
the lucky sun has come shining through the long folds of endless space.
Exuberant Orange brilliance has traveled light years
through all dimensions of the mind,
beyond the jagged edge of inquisition.
It has come bending its phosphorescent beams
to the arc of a lucky cosmic smile,
hurled, compact, and resonating
across the galaxy.
Child with the earthen eye, gazing
up and up;
bend your mind to arc of the sky.
Beyond deep blue wonderousnothing,
A beacon of light lasered spinning shore to sea;
four bright orange leaves, twisting
turning.
The luck of a sister sun has come to rest upon
a green-iron ship at sea.
To ferry it across the colossal, expanding
waves of blue-eyed memory.
A vessel of otherworldly incarnations
hides wide-eyed, waiting amongst the shadows
of a young boys dreams. © 2010 Samuel FerrisReviews
