The Cave

The Cave

A Poem by Samuel Ferris
"

1 of several more poems to be written. I. The Chandelier Ballroom (a crystal ballroom in a cave i saw on planet earth)

"
I. The Chandelier Ballroom

I have found a hollow here
   in the dark echo
of my voice, sk  k  i   i    i   p  p ping
into silence.

Dank moss and
slippery dark stone
       are brothers in a life
with out light,
       with out sound;

The edge of my
voice is new
     here.
.Hello ello llo lo   o  o oo o  o   ol oll  olle olleh.
   A double edged tone
     echoes deeper
into.
     Darkness
rests
        in crystal
      clear    silence.

   Old hanging garden
                              of stone
glistening,                     waiting
      to take shape
and sound new Rhythms,
to waltz like stars in a place
                                    of undefined forms,

                   Waiting
                silently to be
 explored.
