Time like an Echo

Time like an Echo

A Poem by Samuel Ferris

Time like an echo

of fluttering wings

beating into the air

endlessly.

Who knows himself truly

in the vast chasm of repeating me's.

When the days pendulum breaks,

who will be left to claim that once,

Time had no dominion?
