The proportion of seasons

The proportion of seasons

A Poem by Samuel Ferris
"

just about the shape of things, and the connection between beauty, form, and freedom.

"

The proportion of seasons turn,

colors folded on colors

more beautiful, more free,

on the warm sweet wind;

The procession of bee's and honey,

pass the isles of hanging peaches,

returning like wax after the flame

to a frozen grave.
