A Rainy Night

Oh! It's Raining....

It was a cold and rainy night.

In a house, there are two people inside.

But there are no parents in sight.

The girl said " we should turn off the light,

So we can sleep tight."

The boy replied "alright."

Because of the lightning and the rain,

Sleeping is in vain.

And the loud thunderstorm gives them a fright.

The girl sad" maybe we should wait for our parents tonight,

And let's turn on the light."

The boy replied, "Okay." So they stayed up overnight.

A sudden sound makes them jump.

Followed by a THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

Footsteps can be heard, STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!

Both heartbeats are loud, BA-DUMP! BA-DUMP! BA-DUMP!

Morning came and the parents are home.

They put their bags and went to the room.

But they are shocked as they have seen,

The body was full of wounds and its bleedin'.

So when it rains, you should sleep early at night.

And don't ever forget to turn off the lights.

Even if you, can't sleep tight.

It's much better than never seeing the daylight.

Always remember this cause it only happens in a cold and rainy night.
