Man In Time

one day i was wondering what those crazy guys that unthinkable things and believe they are right in doing so would be like. so i just wrote this about them. (crazy people)

seeking refuge from the sheep
spreading poison in his sleep
waking from the smell of lies
trapped within his own disguise
watching closely what we do
what we say to hide the truth
sinking deeper in his head
face of stone his anger fed

whisper softly from his god
heed the words that make him nod
go and leave your world behind
suffer truth my will devine
if they stray you have my word
strike them down almighty sword
keep my strength you shall not die
give no quarter when they cry

devise a plan and go his way
waiting's over time to play
fall from grace and feel his blade
grace is love but love is hate
walk among us in disguise
he has patience on his side
until the day when time is near
to execute and strike with fear

With such perfect timing, as smooth as it is, one can really feel the bumps and lose the flow in these sentences--
go and leave your world behind & manipulate and blow your mind-- the sudden 8 syllable count
has no place in this poem in my opinion, great job, thanks for sharing your talent.
