Worthless to You

I feel worthless to you.

I can't be there for you, when you need me.

I can't hold you, when your body is freezing.

I can't say the right words to end your pain.

There is absolutely nothing through me you gain.

I am worthless.

If I was worthless to anyone else, there would still be hope for me.

But you see, since it's you that can find no worth in me,

the light at the end of the tunnel fades.

I'll just continue waiting around for nothing to happen.

Dreaming of how I could actually mean something to you.

Someday, maybe someday, it'll happen.

And then you could finally have a reason to love me.

But for now, I remain worthless.
