Love not again

Love not again

A Poem by A Lone Creative Nomad
"

This is about a dream I had a while back. It's kinda weird but if it wasn't... It wouldn't be my writing haha.

"
Mushroom cloud illuminates the skies
I don't know how long I cried
One brief moment or a thousand years
That mushroom cloud brought in my worst fears
A world without your perfect smile
I'm darkening with every mile
Gravity the new enemy
I'm pinned, fallen on my knees
Hands held up for you to pull me on
I'll stay there kneeling my whole life long
Love not again
Can't love again
Breathe not again
Can't breathe again
'Til death do us part
Now we must part
Love not again
Can't love again

Okay, really like this one. Like, seriously. And when I use teenage speak, you know I love it. XD Just...every line is impressive. The repitition of "mushroom cloud" in the beginning (it actually reminded me of a dream I had about an atomic bomb, which actually frightened me on my part), and

"I'm darknening with every mile/gravity the new enemy/I'm pinned, fallen to my knees/Hands held up for you to pull me on/I'll stay there kneeling my whole life long."

And the repitions in the end. Wait, why am I writing this? I like every single line, so I'm not going to write the entire piece over. :D
