Hello, SpringA Poem by GuineaPigi was sitting outside with a notebook and pencil and just started writing. no high expectations plz.I ponder over a blank page Slowly filling with graphite An eraser in one hand As I write with the other The sun beats down on my bent neck And when I look up to think It gets in my eyes, greeting me happily Whispers "I'm back" in the brightest of undetectable song Buds against an open sky of blue With a single paint-stroke cloud They rustle in a tiny breeze That lifts my hair I look back over My messy scribbles And decide I like them after all. "Hello, Fly," I murmur at a passing buzz "Hello, Robin," to a trill of song. "Hello, Spring," I say, feeling slightly dorky And close my notebook To walk around in sprouts of green grass.
