The Deceiver

The Deceiver

A Poem by Tear Catcher

Her lies are so intricately woven
Each word delicately weaved into place
And it is us, the victims she has chosen.
She wants us to believe
So we can be put at ease
But we have all been deceived
I don't think I can be relieved
Not after the news I received
''Dear Ol' Daddy was put away today.
They don't know how long he'll be,
But he has a fighting chance to me.
I promise everything will be okay.''
The bullshit I hear
Is the very thing I feared
I can only shed a petty tear
And hope to God the end is near ~~

I like this one. It is indead a well woven poem about deception. It almost sounded like a mom deceving a daughter and the daughter decieving herself, and getting tired of it all.
One suggestion. In line one you use the word "Woven" and in line to you use the word "Weaved" Might i suggest that you use "Woven" in line two and use "Sewn" in line one. the way you have it makes it kind of redundant.
Other then that I thought it was well crafted and it flowed together seemlessly.
