Its during my moments of loneliness,
desperation
wanting to feel alive
wanting to love, to touch, to feel, to breath, to drink, to laugh, to hug
to live.
that I think about you
these moments, they can last days, hours, minutes, seconds

When it’s the dead of night and I click on my archived chats and I see your name across my screen
It’s in these moments that I test who I am
in these moments that I choose another path, the right path?
it’s in these moments that my mind is most clear yet still so overwhelmed

It’s in these moments
where I begin to type
where I don’t hit send
where instead I check the population of my city and realise that
I could disappear
into this crowed of 1.01 million
Never to be seen or heard of again
