Amour's shade

Amour's shade

A Poem by the_stoic
"

random thoughts of my lady coupled with this amazing picture inspired me to pen this down...

"

thine presence sanctifies the atmosphere, creating a halo

'tis the reason why thy soul I'll always follow

and though after ages thine physical beauty shall fade

I'll be there to hold thou in my arms shade…

I like your sentiments very much...
I am distracted by your mix and matching of modern day and Old English pronouns...I think you should be true to one or the other...
just as you are being true to the love of your life...
if ypu're saying "thy" soul...you probably should say "thy" physical beauty...

excellent word choice, very short, but not lacking in any way. i enjoyed the photo too, this is spoken from the heart. the font was also very very entrancing.

Beautiful picture and beautiful words .. true love ..

Only negative would be the wording - as dovetailer mentions, but, saying that your words are still full of wonderful sentiments ..

Bravo, dear friend.

I lack words to describe how much I love this write and the way you expressed your own love. It's amazing! Such a fantastic write! Emotion was clear the whole way through, it flows really well and. personally I love the use of "thy" and "thou", they make it much more romantic.
Absolutely wonderful piece of writing here, very well done!
Thanks for sharing.

First, I love the photo and the shape of the heart created between the two. It's very symbolic of the love of which you write. With such few words, you have spoken so much. Simply beautiful!
