just a request that i often make to my angel , my deity in my dreams ...
even if eons pass by, my love shall remain true thou art my totem, treasured only by a blessed few they say that a woman's heart is a deep ocean so let it be a haven for my piety and devotion...
The love between a man and woman is probably the closest thing we will ever experience that gives us an inclination of how God loves us...
I marvel how you hold on to what you had...although she had moved on, you don't let go...she must be been quite special...even now

"The ocean is a woman turned to the skies,
spilling her thoughts along a shoreline of sand.
You will never know what hides behind her eyes
by skimming the surface and reaching dry land."
An excerpt from my poem entitled, "The Ocean Is A Woman"
Your poem immediately made me think of this one. I have always loved the intermingling of love and devotion and religion, or rather, the thought of love as religion. Your poem embraces this beautifully.
I just love the way you write...weaving words into such powerful, poignant writes...
"thou art my totem, treasured only by a blessed few"...wow, wow!! ...precious
I believe that all writers are unique, but you remind me of the Sufi poet Rumi and his poems about love. Though you're writing is unique that is true and you are very gifted. The similarities are just so apparent to me. I apologize if you are offended in any way.
i won't go about describing myself cause it'll end up as a self deprecatory saga .. my poems are there to speak for me .
