I Pray

I Pray

A Poem by the_stoic

in God i repose my faith and trust
'tis not for any reason that i often pray
Even then if trouble comes, for it must
then bring it on me O Lord !
to let her stay off harm's way...

The starkness of the black and white photograph is a great introduction to the poem itself. It encompasses the silence (snow) and the stoicism (black) required in order to internalize, to live and breathe such a poignant verse. Acceptance of the unavoidable and the strength to make your way ... yes, your prayers shall surely protect you along the way.

Great job!
