in God i repose my faith and trust
'tis not for any reason that i often pray
Even then if trouble comes, for it must
then bring it on me O Lord ! to let her stay off harm's way...
The starkness of the black and white photograph is a great introduction to the poem itself. It encompasses the silence (snow) and the stoicism (black) required in order to internalize, to live and breathe such a poignant verse. Acceptance of the unavoidable and the strength to make your way ... yes, your prayers shall surely protect you along the way.

Oh, how precious are the prayers for our loved ones, our friends, our world, our enemies....and praying in accordance with God's will we know we have our prayers answered !
I find it most encouraging that you are willing to submit to troubles...yet your prayer remains confident in Him who does all things well :)
The imagery jumps in the last line- In the previous lines, it was something like a prayer for yourself, but in the last it just travels away. Well, if that's what you intended, I wish you could've put it in some other way. But I seriously liked the first four lines. Seemed kind of like, Japanese Geisha Girl's songs (They don't relate at all. But the wordings were similar. Read some of them if you like). Keep writing :)
i won't go about describing myself cause it'll end up as a self deprecatory saga .. my poems are there to speak for me .
