An Ode to Love

LOVE is the most beautiful relationships of all .. wish people could understand its importance

Life is but a hollow shaft
To render it fruitful one must know the craft
They say love ain't anything but a blank draft
But the truth is it gets colourful if you are blessed with the blissful art .

Who has the time , thou may say
But sit back and realize you may
Your heart is still empty cause you are caught up in the daily grind
To redeem your self, Love it is my dear friend that you need to find .

As for me , memories are all i have
That's my fuel cause till the end i need to drive
May be that's where i'll find Her again .. She who's my life
My heart will surely again strive
to gain the love, of which i have always been deprived . . .

Only things I notice odd in the poem is "ain't", you can replace it with "is not" (Because it affects the abruptness of the poem, trust me). Two short lines, two long ones - Quite a intriguing pattern, but why is the last para uneven? :-o Well, if I'm to say about the words only - SPLENDID! :) Yes, we must never stop believing in love, everyone gets their dose :) Well, most get over-dosed :P Keep writing.

It's a great poem just gets a little confusing with all the abbreviations and grammar errors. It'll be easier for the readers if you wrote correctly. Just helpful advice. Keep writing you're good :)
