one moment is all it takes ..

one moment
life is a tapestry of colours
one moment
it's subdued in black and white.

one moment
her silhouette is so vivid
one moment
it's nothing but my gossamer shadow.

one moment
standing tall is my castle of dreams
one moment
it's razed to the ground.

one moment
the sunshine brightens up my day
one moment
it's mocking at the darkness of my soul.

one moment
the moon is an embodiment of love
one moment
it's a silent observer of the night howls.

one moment
a heartfelt conversation is on course
one moment
it's only me engaging in a soliloquy.

one moment
joyful is the presence of friends around
one moment
it's just loneliness to keep company.

one moment
the overtly emotional self is a blessing
one moment
it's a curse in disguise.

one moment
tears are an ally of happiness
one moment
it's there just for the pain to get by.

one moment
the sand in the hourglass is emptying fast
one moment
it's stuck, refusing to pass by.

one moment
words are treasured in a pearl brocade
one moment
it's robbed of its innate meaning.

one moment
I am reeling in limerence
one moment
it's a negative sentiment override.

one moment
there is eagerness to walk down the aisle
one moment
it's an endless wait to the solitary grave.

one moment
care and concern enrich the memories
one moment
it's all that's left to treasure.

life is full of promises for the future
one moment
it's all wiped away, forever.

Part of the mystery in life is it's ebb and flow. This is a passionate write about exactly that. I want to teach my children that life is seven steps forward, six steps back and seven steps forward, and the cycle repeats through out our lives. I love the images and words you've use.
