Haunted

Haunted

A Poem by Gabby

I smile
And cobwebs crease
The corners of my mouth.

At night I
Dance in the darkness
With my eyes closed
To no music.

Cackles echo down the empty hallway,
Floorboards creak
With no feet to step on them.

People say
The house is haunted.

It is not the house.

Eventually
You learn to live
With the ghosts.

Interesting portrait of a "haunting" here. Or maybe it's schizophrenia.
