The Tunnel

Many live their life looking for the light at the end of the tunnel.

Maybe we all do.

As we pass through this structure, we see images in the stone that represent the many scenes portrayed in the Acts of our lives.

Do we pass through the same tunnel as those before us and those to come?

Yes...

Why don't we learn from their mistakes?

You use metaphors extremely well in your poetry; the tunnel is an excellent way to characteroze life's journey. Searching for the light... so to speak. And we should learn from the mistakes of those who have ventured the tunnel before us. I know I do. I remember sitting and listening to the anecdotes of the older men that used to sit outside of my apartment builing... you can learn a lot from those guys...

Because you have to learn your mistakes to truly understand them. Otherwise, the lesson would be lost.
