![]() UnrequitedA Poem by gsoagtUnrequited She doesn’t give herself enough credit She is worthy of so much more in life She hides her beauty and her talents. What could be the fear? Perhaps someone could love her again As should be… Words of passion burst forth from within Creating images to make one blush and swoon Would that that passion be for one as old as I? I could not tell. She disguises her beautiful mane beneath a cap of cotton. I see in her eyes a sparkle that fashion could be had. Her lips revealed a smile that called to me I wanted to kiss those lips but dared not try. © 2010 gsoagtReviews
