Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning

A Poem by Greyson Davison

Sunday Morning

                               Wake up

The sun is bright, the breeze is cool, the breeze is light

                               Watch out

The world’s behind you, the bed is warm, the bed is soft

                                Live up

Beauty is at your door step, angels at your feet, angels

                                Relax

Early sun snoops at your corner, this is every day, sun

                                   Sleep

Listen to the birds hum and rattle, they call your name

                                  Breathe

Slow motions anticipate you now, move like sunbeams

                                  Lie down

Lift your spirits, the world’s behind you, Sunday morning
