Memories on my Cheek

Memories on my Cheek

A Poem by Ironbutt
"

The lose of someone..something.. a memory..... all start at the cheek..

"
So long...so long my old friend...
goodbeye...to tail wagging..
shoes dragging..
barking, scratching..running..
falling..
snuggles and wet kisses...
your memory will be forever on  my cheek....
 Ok..so this is the end.....
ya..sure..we can still be friends...
see ya...
see you every time I look beside me..
dreams gone and sun risings..
holding hands and blowing kisses...
early mornings...is what will be missing..
Yes..so long to the memories...
one more to be right here on my cheek.....
Cannot recall the numbers I dail...
seem confused all the damn time..
old friends names I cannot recall...
where have all my memories gone?

Right here ..where they will always be...
started from the eye...
landed on the cheek.
