I Wonder....A Poem by IronbuttEver just let your mind go on its own journey?........Did it come back?....
The rythem of the lakes small waves lap over the rocks...
so soothing... fishing bobber dancing to its own beat... mind off on a barefoot journey.... leaving me alone with .... me.. So many paths I have taken...so many journies I have been on... some just two step stumbles..others... so many years long....... Faces and places...names so hard to recall... food I have tasted...parties..man... what a ball! Pain edged in scares..some healed other not... So many lessons learned... a few that are best forgot..... Love found in strange places... love lost over not... tears cried for the smallest things... wars fought and friends lost... Jokes told time and time again... laughed just like it was a new... Friends turned into brothers.. do anything for you..... Bobber disappears..fishing line goes tight... brings me back fom a barefoot journey... looks like fried fish tonight! © 2013 IronbuttAuthor's Note
